Lonnie Johnson brings almost 14 years of industry experience to custom home design and construction. Johnson, president of Aston Custom Home & Design in Dallas, specializes in historic reconstruction and restoration, recently adding contemporary new construction to his list of projects. Prior to 2003, Johnson’s business focus was remodeling single and multi-family residences for resale. An award-winning builder, Johnson is also partner in the Innovations Furniture and Lighting concept in Norcross, GA.
Johnson’s hands-on experience underlies his understanding of today’s lifestyles and how to make a home ‘livable.’ His philosophy is to use technology and high performance products to make a house smart and efficient, but also to create an environment that is inviting and comfortable. “In today’s economy, home ownership is a luxury,” says Johnson. “Anyone who can afford a home deserves to have-- and can have-- a luxury product priced at a value.”
